Tanzania splits neatly into three trips — safari, beach and mountain — and each has a very different connectivity profile.
Short answer: 5–8 GB covers a week in Tanzania. Zanzibar and the cities are well covered; the Serengeti and Ngorongoro have patchy coverage at lodges only; Kilimanjaro's route is effectively offline above the gate.
